Softball Head Coach Brzezinski Earns 900th Career Victory

Coach Julie Brzezinski has led the ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Softball program since 1998.

With a win at Stetson this past Friday, Feb. 16, ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Softball Head Coach Julie Brzezinski earned her 900th career victory. Coach Brzezinski had been the leader of the Stags for 26 seasons, in addition to eight prior years as the head coach at Campbell University.

The winningest coach in ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ history in any sport, Brzezinski has compiled 656 wins to date with the Stags. Three victories in the early stages this season have moved her career record to 901-805-6. She is one of 16 active softball coaches in Division I to have topped the 900-win mark and she ranks 41st all-time in Division I history.

Under Coach Brzezinski’s leadership, the Stags have won seven MAAC regular season titles; they won the MAAC Tournament in 2015 and 2017 to advance to the only two NCAA postseason appearances in program history.

This season, ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ is 3-2 after a successful opening weekend in Florida. The Stags return to action on March 3-5 at the Palmer Park Clash hosted by the University of Virginia.
