What You'll Learn and Do

Pursue your passion.

ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ University’s Accelerated Master’s Entry to Practice Nursing (MEPN) program provides a unique opportunity for those with a non-nursing bachelor’s degree to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree in a 2-year, accelerated format.

Fulfill a national need for nurses.

In post-Covid healthcare systems, the importance of nurses cannot be understated. The flexibility of the MEPN program allows students to gain a graduate-level MSN degree that will fast-track them to higher-level, higher-paying nursing leadership roles.

Take advantage of a unique opportunity.

The MEPN is the first program in the state of Connecticut to prepare advanced generalists for registered nursing practice and leadership.

Have flexibility in your career.

Following graduation, MEPN students will be eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX) to become registered nurses. After two years of clinical experience, possible careers include executive management, data analysis and quality improvement, legal nurse consultant, nursing academia, public policy/government, and more.
