Through investment research, market perspectives, and statement analysis, our fund looks to generate alpha through the discovery of unique, undervalued long-term investment opportunities within our various sectors and product groups.

Beyond fund performance, SMIF embraces �Ӱ�ԭ��'s Jesuit mission by giving back to the community. Through partnerships with �Ӱ�ԭ�� Preparatory School, The �Ӱ�ԭ�� Bellarmine Campus, and the �Ӱ�ԭ�� Jennings Beach, these future business leaders extend into a role beyond the classroom and fund, looking to be “men and women for others” in their volunteer efforts.

Extracurricular Opportunities

An essential component of SMIF includes the group’s unique offering of extracurricular opportunities and experiences offered to students. This includes our relationship with the London School of Economics, where a student was chosen to attend an Alternative Investments Conference, featuring executive-level speakers of investment-focused backgrounds.

How SMIF Gives Back

One of SMIF’s primary responsibilities is giving back in various meaningful ways to both the Dolan School of Business and the community of �Ӱ�ԭ��. Some examples of recent initiatives are a “Lunch and Learn” educational workshop with business students from �Ӱ�ԭ�� University’s Bellarmine Campus.

Other initiatives include a series of Women’s Insights Programs focused on building a relationship with the female student body, an alumni golf outing at a local country club, and a beach recycling cleanup.
