The ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ University Art Museum (FUAM) is delighted to announce a series of enriching events catering to art enthusiasts and learners of all ages. From insightful exhibition tours to captivating lectures and hands-on crafting sessions, the museum is set to be a hub of cultural engagement throughout November.

Join FUAM for an : "In Real Times. Arthur Szyk: Artist and Soldier for Human Rights" on October 27 at 2 p.m., October 28 at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3 p.m. Dive into the world of Arthur Szyk, exploring his remarkable journey as an artist and advocate for human rights.

On November 1 at 5 p.m., don't miss the Virtual Lecture, presented by author Arnie Bernstein. Delve into the intriguing history of the German-American Bund in Connecticut.

For a thought-provoking evening, at 7:30 p.m. at the Aloysius P. Kelley Center presented by the Bennett Center for Judaic Studies at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ University. In his lecture, "Was Modern Art Jewish: Jewish Art Collectors and Nazi Looters,”Dr. Dellheim will unravel the influence of Jewish art collectors and Nazi looters on the modern art scene.

All families are invited to the event on Nov. 4 at 12:30 p.m. Kids aged four-10 can enjoy fun cartooning tutorials in the Walsh Gallery, complete with all necessary supplies.

Embrace mindfulness with the Meditation and Mindfulness sessions. Join FUAM on at 5 p.m. for a virtual guided meditation class led by Jackie DeLise. On at 5 p.m., experience an in-person meditation class in our gallery at Bellarmine Hall. 

On Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. join fellow crafters in the museum classroom for . Whatever one's medium or craft project — from knitting or crocheting, to painting or jewelry making, simply bring your own materials and come prepared to create and share ideas with other crafting enthusiasts. 

Art enthusiasts won't want to miss the at 11 a.m. Delve into the unknown Chinese artist's masterpiece, "Sichuan Qin Player," in an informal discussion led by FUAM’s curator of education and academic engagement Michelle DiMarzo, PhD.
