ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Dolan Partners With Global Jesuit Universities

Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid and Uruguay Catholic University are entering 4+1 and 1+1 agreements with ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ University, enabling their students to pursue graduate degrees at ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Dolan.

As part of its global expansion initiatives, the Charles F. Dolan School of Business has announced two new partnerships with Jesuit universities in Spain and Uruguay.

The 4+1 degree agreement will enable undergraduate students from Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid (Comillas ICADE) and Uruguay Catholic University (UCU) to pursue graduate degrees at ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Dolan, upon completion of undergraduate studies at their home institution. This agreement will further students' education and expand their global opportunities.

The 1+1 UCU program stipulates that the students in UCU’s master’s degree in management program will study the first year in Uruguay and spend their second year at ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Dolan, earning two graduate degrees, one from each institution.

On July 15, ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Dolan Dean Zhan Li, DBA, and Senior Associate Dean Anca Micu, PhD, hosted Dr. M. Teresa Corzo Santamaria, dean of ICADE Business School, and Dr. Lourdes Fernandez, head of Business Analytics Studies at Comillas Pontifical University.

On July 16, Dean Li and Dr. Micu welcomed UCU's Dr. Gustavo Monzon, S.J., vice-rector of university community, Dr. Isabelle Charquirand, dean of the business school, and Ms. Fiorella Bafundo, director of international affairs.

“We are very excited to enter partnering agreements with Uruguay Catholic University and Comillas ICADE in Madrid," said Dean Li, "both of which are Jesuit institutions and among the best universities in their respective countries.”

ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ's business school also seeks to expand study abroad opportunities, in collaboration with Global ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ. "Beyond Shanghai and India, ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Dolan is growing its partnerships in Latin America and Europe to globalize its visibility and reputation, build pipelines for graduate enrollments, and broaden its geographical expansion,” Dean Li said.
