Take Your Research to New Heights (and New Continents)

ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ University’s Fulbright Program offers students a post-graduate opportunity to do research, study, or work in another country following the completion of their undergraduate studies.

About the Fulbright U.S. Student Program

The Fulbright U.S. Student program is the largest U.S. exchange program offering opportunities for students and young professionals to undertake international graduate study, advanced research, university teaching, and primary and secondary school teaching worldwide for one year. The program currently awards approximately 1,900 grants annually in all fields of study and operates in more than 140 countries worldwide.

The program facilitates cultural exchange through direct interaction on an individual basis in the classroom, field, home, and in routine tasks, allowing the grantee to gain an appreciation of others’ viewpoints and beliefs, the way they do things, and the way they think. Through engagement in the community, the individual will interact with their hosts on a one-to-one basis in an atmosphere of openness, academic integrity, and intellectual freedom, thereby promoting mutual understanding.

Student Grants and Fellowships Office

We encourage all our students to get involved in research, even during their time as undergraduates. Participation in undergraduate research opens up scholarship opportunities and allows students to apply classroom knowledge to real-life projects and situations. In other words, you’ll learn more than you ever thought possible about any subject you want to tackle.
