ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ University is a community that challenges students academically while connecting talents and values to societal needs. The typical ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ student has taken advantage of leadership opportunities, developed a strong work ethic, honed analytical and communication skills, and can solve problems creatively.

On Campus Recruiting

On-campus recruiting takes place throughout the academic year. The Career Center uses Stags4Hire to coordinate the campus recruiting process. It allows employers to review applicant resumes continuously up to the application deadline and set up the interview schedule. Interviews can not scheduled during exams or when school is not in session.

Employers interested in arranging on-campus interview dates are encouraged to contact Sandra Toth as soon as possible at (203) 254-4000, ext. 2150, or at stoth@fairfield.edu. Interviews are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Employer presentations are typically held at least three weeks before the campus interview date to allow students the opportunity to learn about the organization and the positions they are seeking to fill.
  • Interview preparation sessions are usually scheduled the evening before the recruiting date. These sessions are open to the students who have been selected to interview. Employers contact selected students to invite them.
  • Presentations and information sessions must be scheduled so room reservations can be made. Since space is limited, reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • The Career Center opens at 8:30 a.m., a half-hour before the first interviews. The Career Center's Recruiting Coordinator greets recruiters with the day's schedule(s). Employers are asked to bring copies of the student resumes they have selected for interviewing.
  • Information Packets are presented to employers by the Career Center Recruiting Coordinator. These include student interview feedback forms and a survey about Career Center services.
  • Parking is available in the parking garage adjacent to the Kelley Center building or the Kelley Center parking lot.

QuadJobs: Employers looking to fill part-time jobs can post to QuadJobs. is an app-based job portal that connects local employers with ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ University students. Employers can hire students for part-time and one-time jobs in the communities near campus as well as for jobs that can be done remotely. This service is free for students. Employers can communicate with and pay students directly through the app.  A small service fee will be charged to the employer.

The Career Center is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), and the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers (EACE). We adhere to the "Principles of Professional Conduct for College Career Planning, Placement, and Recruitment" as published by NACE.

When extending employment offers, "Employment professionals will refrain from any practice that improperly influences and affects job acceptances. Employment professionals will strive to communicate decisions to candidates within the agreed-upon time frame."
