We believe that a student’s time at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ should prepare them for their future. To achieve this, our Career Center makes numerous resources available to students to help with networking, interview preparation, job searches, and more.

Career Center Services

Students can stop by the Career Center during business hours to have their resumes reviewed by Career Peer Advisors and printed on professional stationery. 

The Career Center offers students a chance to have a professional photo taken for their LinkedIn profile. Students can contact the Career Center to schedule an appointment.

Make a photo booth appointment

Students can reserve a private interview room consisting of a desk and phone in Kelly Center’s Interview Alley. These rooms can be used for in-person, phone, or virtual interviews. Students can contact the Career Center to make a reservation.

The Career Closet is available to any students who would like to borrow professional attire for a career fair or other professional events.

Communications

The Career Center sends out weekly updates with upcoming events and job/internship opportunities from stags4hire@fairfield.edu and careers@fairfield.edu. Life@ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ is up-to-date with all Career Center offerings.


Career Exploration & Networking

The Career Center hosts a wide range of programs to assist students with career exploration and networking. Students can check Life@ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ and emails from stags4hire@fairfield.edu for details about these events, as well as Career Fairs, Mock Interview Days, and Sophomore Success sessions. Employer events can include Stags in the City visits, Info Sessions, Coffee Chats, and Lunch ‘n Learns. 

Workshops

Career Center workshops cover topics such as developing resumes, preparing for video interviews, getting ready for career fairs, and creating a LinkedIn profile. Students should check stags4hire@fairfield.edu emails and Life@ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ for the schedule.

    Liquid Compass is a powerful job search tool to help students find healthcare jobs. Students can search a national database of jobs that fit criteria such as specialty, employer, and location. Try it here.

    ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ offers a platform for students to take part in short-term, professional, paid work experiences through Micro-Internships. These paid opportunities typically range from 5 to 40 hours of work and can be completed remotely. Learn more here.
