How You Can Help ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Students

is ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ University’s primary job and internship posting resource. ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ undergraduate and graduate students and alumni have complete access to Stags4Hire. Stags4Hire is a free posting site that provides all participating employers with 24/7 access to job postings and candidate applications. In addition to posting job and internship opportunities, participating employers can schedule interviews and utilize our on-campus interview facilities.

When you know that a ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ student is applying for an opportunity at your company, you can support them by being a resource and facilitating their application through your employer’s hiring process.

ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ’s Alumni Job Shadow Program pairs students with alumni professionals across the Northeast and beyond for a full or half day of rewarding career exploration during winter break. Students have the chance to sharpen their career focus, network with ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ alumni in a field they’re interested in, and enhance their confidence. Alumni and your organizations likewise have the opportunity to connect with ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ students and build awareness of your company and the opportunities available in your field.

Career Fairs are popular among job seekers and employers alike. They offer opportunities for individuals seeking employment or in some cases internships, to meet with several employers. Employers attend Career Fairs to meet many candidates and identify individuals who will be invited for a more in-depth interview.

ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ hosts many opportunities for employers to connect with students on campus such as Info Sessions, Exploration Days, Mock Interviews, and Resume Reviews, etc. Contact Deirdre Bennett, manager of Employer Engagement, to make arrangements.

On-campus recruiting for seniors at ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ takes place from September through April. On-campus recruiting for junior summer non-credit internships also takes place from September through April. Employers interested in arranging on-campus interview dates are encouraged to phone Sharon Walsh at 203-254-4000, ext. 2261, or e-mail.

Student organizations are an excellent way to make a connection and strengthen your brand on campus. Consider presenting to one of ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ’s 80+ student clubs or organizations about a current industry topic, career development, and other relevant issues. Contact Deirdre Bennett, manager of Employer Engagement, to make arrangements.

Micro-Internships

ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ University offers a platform for students to take part in short-term, professional, paid work experiences through Micro-Internships. Unlike a traditional internship, these paid opportunities typically range from 5 to 40 hours of work and can be completed remotely.

Micro-Internships provide a chance for students to demonstrate their skills, explore career paths, and develop professional networks. Students provide immediate support to the employer and gain work experience for future internships and career options. Micro-Internships can include projects across all departments, including sales, HR, marketing, research, operations, and finance.
